Family Drug Court

About the FDC

The Ashtabula County Family Drug Court’s target population includes parents who have either lost temporary custody of their children or whose children are under the protective supervision of the court due to parental substance abuse. The parent must also live in Ashtabula County and have an open case with Ashtabula County Children Services.

Family Drug Court provides a blueprint
for success for families affected by substance abuse.

Goals and Objectives

• FDC meets at promptly 10 a.m. every Friday
 
• FDC provides faster access to treatment & intervention for parents in hopes of              faster reunification for the family.
 
• FDC provides additional support & accountability to your treatment plan
 

• FDC uses a 4-phase model with both Incentives & Sanctions
